DANCING DOTTIE By Kristi Newsome (50 words) Little miss Dottie would always dance. Ask her to stop? Not even a chance. One day Mom cried “I’m taking a stance!” And accompanied her out to France. The ballet teacher, after a glance, Said that the problem wasn’t her prance. But, in fact, she had ants in her pants. Vivian Kirkfield (author of FROM HERE TO THERE: INVENTIONS THAT CHANGED THE WAY THE WORLD MOVES; her site here) is hosting the #50PreciousWords competition and I loved the idea of the challenge to synthesize a beginning, middle, and end into a short 50 words -so this is my submission! It was so much fun writing this out!
